Consent and safety

Everyone should enjoy the story

Dark stories are fine. Making real people feel unsafe is not.

Consent comes first

Sensitive scenes (sexual content, torture, self-harm) are never allowed without clear out-of-character consent from everyone involved, and some are never allowed at all.
Anyone can stop a scene at any time by saying "/ooc I am not comfortable with this". Everyone moves on, no questions asked.
Character kills need staff approval and the player’s consent, except where a court ruling or the rules say otherwise.

Respect out of character

Your character can be a villain; you can’t. No harassment, hate speech or discrimination, in or out of character.
Never share another player’s personal information, and never take in-city conflict to their DMs or streams.
You must meet our minimum age to play. Staff may ask for verification.

Getting help

If something makes you uncomfortable, open a ticket on our Discord. Reports are confidential and handled by senior staff.
Clips help: record what happened and attach it to your ticket.
Staff will never ask for your password, payment details or personal information.
